Luke Honnoraty was a fantastic compere, getting laughs from the word go, his comedy was clever and off the cuff and while it was clearly poking fun, its was nothing to acerbic or harsh, nobody was left feeling humiliated and everyone was looking forward to seeing more of Luke who belongs on stage.

Luke Honnoraty upped the level of entertainment with his self-deprecating and anecdotal humour. Rounds of applause were awarded for his tales of 3am ice-cream feasts and shame over being confused with a bouncy castle salesman at a child's birthday party. Honnoraty had the audience in the palm of his hand throughout the set.

Luke improves with every viewing, and his cheeky, practical joker material went down very well with the mixed age Ivybridge audience. Stories around his work and home life (he holds down an office job during the day!) crazy pranks, his poor long suffering wife, and his absolute refusal to take anyone or anything too seriously had the punters and us laughing. We’ve seen Luke more than a few times (although not too much recently) and while there was some material that we recognised, there was also a pile of new stuff which was very good. During the break, as I nipped to the ladies, I heard several people comment on how much they’d liked him and why hadn't they seen him before??! Carole Chappel , Plymouth hohoho |
Luke Honnoraty, an extremely endearing and affable young man with boy-next-door Devonshire charm who eases in with some self-deprecating gags about his appearance and proceeds to bring hilarity out of the everyday. He has natural chatty delivery and a particularly subtle call-back about the changing attitude towards Walls Vienetta desserts.

"Luke Honnoraty engaged the audience in an effortless manner, mocking every day scenarios through the eyes of a youth. His punch lines and boyish demeanour were amusing, but his ability to mock the audience was undeniably the highlight of his performances throughout the night. He played the role of the host well: entertaining the audience and gearing the crowd up for each act"

''one to watch, natural and engaging comedy, quite refreshing"
Lee Sigerson Cardiff Glee Club |
"The lovable Luke Honnoraty opened with bundles of energy and brilliantly crafted stories of the delights of camping and his on-going struggles with the fashion world. Amidst the anecdotes of pranks played on housemates and his other half; there are some expertly timed tangents, keeping you on the edge of your seat if not falling off it with hysterics. A delight to watch, Luke is testament to the fact that some people were born to be on stage."
Rib Tickler Comedy Club, Bournmouth. ''I wont be surprised if I'm writing for this guys own TV show in the next 5 years!''
Gary Delaney "Watch out for Luke Honnoraty, Among the strongest Comedians to come out of the South West in years!"
Dan Edge, Eminent Banter |
"Luke Honnoraty is a star waiting to be discovered. The audience found themselves laughing before they had a chance to realise it wasn't something you should be caught laughing at. Luke lulls you into his care-free, observationally on-the-button world, with such abandon that it feels like you've just been groomed for a trip to Luke-world, where everything is funny, and laughter is addictive.
-James Alderson, Spinnaker Tower Comedy Club, Portsmouth Laughing Cheetah, Exeter
"Fast paced stories and incredibley quick witted, Luke is hilarious on stage and off. And an added bonus - he's a genuinely nice guy! He made our opening night a huge success, and we can't wait to have him back!" Claire O'Reilly, Laughing Cheetah Comedy Club, Exeter "Luke Honnoraty is guaranteed to be loved by any audience and never disappoints. His infectious persona combined with a fast paced delivery has audiences laughing at the darkest of subjects before they even realise."
